Founded by City of Seattle employees 75 years ago, Seattle Metropolitan Credit Union still supports city workers such as city police officers. Each month SMCU donates $250 to one of four foundations: Help the Officer Fund, Fallen Officer’s Fund, Kenneth A. Saucier Memorial Scholarship Fund or Youth Athletic Fund.
Our new Feel Good Checking account has only been available for two and a half months and, thanks to your support, we’ve already raised almost $3,000 for our non-profit partners. Remember, when you open a Feel Good Checking account, we donate $20 of our money to one or all of our non-profit partner(s).
