Pulling for Principles with Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Puget Sound

SMCU Employees Pulling for Principles

On Saturday, July 18, 2009, SMCU participated in the Big Plane Pull event to support Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Puget Sound. We sponsored the event and solicited volunteers from our staff to come join the fun. Two teams of five people came to represent SMCU and pull for principles on a beautiful Saturday morning at Boeing Field. Everyone had a great time while raising money for this worthy program. So many children in our community don’t have anyone they can count on and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Puget Sound gives kids a chance to have a mentor in their lives. They are the largest mentoring organization in Washington State, serving over 2,600 children annually in five counties. We were so glad to be a part of this great BIG community event!
