How do I start an online banking account?

    • SMCU says:

Great question, Michael. When you log into Online Banking for the first time, your username will be your member number, and your password will be the last 4 digits of your social security number.

Once you are logged in, it will prompt you to choose a unique username and password to use for future logins. Thank you for your membership and please let us know if you have any other questions.

I deposited two checks for the first time. I cannot see any indication of checks deposited or pending when i go back to check the balance. Should have indication that deposit is pending.

Thank you for your feedback, Daniel. When a remotely deposited check is accepted and in the “pending” stage, you should receive a confirmation email. If you need to update your email address, you can do so by clicking “my settings” in the top right corner of Online Banking.
