Join us for Shred Day on Saturday, April 19

Mark your calendar for one of our most popular events of the year.

Shred Day returns on Saturday, April 19.

You know you should be cautious when disposing of your personal financial records. Simply throwing them into the garbage or recycle bin makes it far too easy for crooks to get everything they need to steal your identity.

To help you get rid of your old tax returns, credit card bills, and other private papers, SMCU invites you to bring them to our Georgetown, Lynnwood, and Northgate branches on Saturday, April 19, between 10am and 2pm. We’ll have document-disposal specialists, Shred-It, onsite to securely and professionally shred and recycle those things you want to keep private.

Bring up to two file boxes of records and have them shredded absolutely free. Plus enjoy free refreshments while you wait.

Protecting your personal information from would-be identity thieves is an important part of being financially responsible. SMCU is excited to be able to provide this service to our members as part of our ongoing commitment to enhance their financial well-being.
