Win 2 Tickets to the 7th Annual SLEE Dinner

SMCU is proud to be a sponsor of the Community Alliance for Global Justice’s 7th Annual Strengthening Local Economies Everywhere (SLEE) Dinner. In addition to emphasizing the importance of sustainable food, this year’s dinner and silent auction celebrates food service workers and their accelerating struggle for better conditions.


Date: Saturday, September 7th, 2013

Time: Happy Hour 5 – 6:30pm, Dinner 6:30 – 9pm

Where: University Christian Church, 4731 15th Ave NE (near University of Washington)

Keynote: Saru Jayaraman (author of Behind the Kitchen Door, co-director of the Restaurant Opportunities Centers United, and director of the Food Labor Research Center at UC-Berkeley)
