The NCBA’s Annual Meeting & Co-op Conference will be taking place in Seattle from October 2-5. The conference is held each year for cooperative leaders from all business sectors to gather ideas and share best practices with others.
One major highlight of this year’s conference is the SLICE reception, where an exciting line-up of co-op leaders, including SMCU’s Andy Wright, will be present to share current trends and happenings from their organizations. This event provides a great opportunity for all co-op enthusiasts to network and learn new capabilities to meet member needs.
The reception is free and takes place on Friday, October 5 from 6:30-8:30pm at FareStart, located at 700 Virginia Street.
Other highlights of the NCBA conference include the Crash NCBA event for young professionals, a tour of local cooperatives, and a preview of the co-op documentary “Shift Change.” See a full list of events here.
Cooperation amongst cooperatives is key to success. The NCBA conference and SLICE Reception are great examples of co-ops coming together to learn from and support one another in an effort to better serve our community. Whether you are an active member of the co-op movement, an owner-member, or simply interested in learning more about cooperatives, we hope to see you there.
