SMCU Celebrates Earth Day with Cooperation

Of all the Cooperative Principles, perhaps the most unusual and inspiring is Principle #6, Cooperation Among Cooperatives. When co-ops join forces, we accomplish some amazing things. What better time to celebrate cooperation for the greater good than on Earth Day!

On Saturday, April 23, Seattle Metropolitan Credit Union, Verity Credit Union and Seattle REI will partner with the Student Conservation Association, UW Botanic Gardens and Seattle Parks and Recreation for a day of fun restoration projects at the Washington Park Arboretum.

Free one-of-a-kind event t-shirts for the first 50 SMCU members!!
