For several hours on Wednesday, November 9, Seattle Metropolitan Credit Union’s website, smcu.com, was offline. The service interruption affected the main website, SMCU’s Online Banking and Text Banking, but did not affect SMCU’s main transactional system. Recurring transactions, such as Bill Pay, and ATM and Debit card transactions were also not affected.
At no time was any private, financial information at risk.
